On a gorgeous day last fall, women who had not met before came together joined by two common bonds: they were cancer conquerors (their term) whose lives had been touched by The Red Devils. At points during the luncheon, the dining room felt more like a big tent revival as these indomitable women shared with one another accounts of their breast cancer journeys.
We are grateful to them and to so many others for letting us into their lives and for allowing us to share their stories with you.
